2024 Dates are June 15th to August 22nd (option to work one session)

Salaries start at $1,000* per week+ Room & Board + Camp Tuition for your Child

*$1,000 per week starting for currently licensed Registered Nurses or LPNs. VT license required. F&W will pay to apply for reciprocal agreement if coming from another state.

Provide First Aid during the Adventure

Our campers are running in the woods, caring for plants and animals, and living simply in our open-air structures. When they have cuts, scrapes, bug bites and more, you’re the one they turn to so they can get back to camp magic!

Distribute Medicine During Meals

Meals are important for more than just food! Ensure that campers get their medication at the meal, and get a chance to hear about their day!

Track Everything

We love how detail-oriented nurses our nurses are! They keep track of medical visits, supplies, first aid kids, medications, and more. We use CampDoc for our medical records and have a Nurse Coordinator. When they need something, we’re there to help support.

Make the Infirmary Your Own

Athough we love our simple structures, our infirmaries have all the things you need to do your job well – small kitchenette, running water and electricity, and an opportunity to make it your own. Like the rest of our staff, our nurses set up their infirmary each summer.

Be a Camp Leader

Nurses work closely with Camp Directors to stay in contact with families, staff, and campers. Our Nurses work with our behavior staff, provide trainings, share their wisdom with staff, and help comfort our campers.

Play in the Woods

Don't just stay in the infirmary all day - get out and see our animals and gardens, take a swim in the lake, and take part in creating camp magic for our campers. Nurses are a part of the community, and our campers love seeing them around!
