Someday….
There is no better day to find your someday than today! For those of you who do not know this part of our IB programming, Someday is the day at camp that we answer the camper question “could we do…” If its zany, silly, makes no sense whatsoever, and is really just fun for fun’s sake- it will probably happen Someday!
This session, Someday includes the ol’ favorite and Someday standard “The Pudding Drop,” and the “Cetacean swim.” I’ll leave the telling of what these tales are to your campers.
Our international staff are also introducing “Bachata” and “Merengue” to spice up our dancing skills. Aaand- perhaps best of all, especially on one of the hottest days of camp, the Green Mountain Sugar House is providing the beloved Maple Creamees as a sweet afternoon treat. Again, if you don’t know what that is- well, you need to not let you campers just tell you- you must find out for yourself. It will be worth the pull off!
Also, people tell me that camp ends this week! Well, if I could have my Someday wish it would be that this Saturday we didn’t have to say farewell to our campers. And, our staff will also be heading off to the adventures that await them after camp.
Thank you for the privilege of caring for your children this summer. What a wondrous, adventurous, sweet and strong group the are! If you have the opportunity to join us for any of our events during the school year- please do.
Until then, IB and I will be here- in the Green Mountains of Vermont. Planning, remembering, and dreaming of when we’ll see each other again next summer.
