An 'Anything Is Possible' Summer - Farm & Wilderness

Written by Pam Podger | April 22, 2014

We have 15 three-sided cabins that we built, a couple of lodges, a small farm and a few more spaces to build and create the life we want.

And we have each other.

Less IS more.

Less stuff, more daring.
Less stuff, more caring.

Yes, I said “caring”. Courage is good. Coupling it with plenty of empathy makes it great.

This summer, please remember:

Anything is possible
Everyone counts
Let’s get it done

At Timberlake, we mean it when we say “anything is possible.”A summer camp should be a utopia, a place to re-create society for a few months, to make a better place where we can do things we know we are capable of – both individually and collectively. That’s why everyone counts. This is our most ambitious goal – that not one single person slips through the cracks. No one gets everything they want at camp, but when we try hard enough, everyone gets what they need. These goals are huge, and they require making a plan, sticking to it. There will come that moment of leaping off, when you’ve decided what dreams you want to make reality and you look around you … everyone is ready… and “let’s get it done.”

Peace,

Tulio
