The Farm & Wilderness Fair, August 15
In August every summer, F&W hosts our own version of an old-fashioned country fair. Each camp is deeply involved with Fair preparation: creating crafts, preparing delicious food and rehearsing skits, songs and music. There are hand-made and human-powered rides, food and craft booths, and presentations and performances. The Fair is the same day as Camp Visiting Day. Parents, friends and local residents are all welcome to come enjoy the festivities. The day culminates with a boisterous outdoor square dance and the lighting of a huge bonfire.
This summer, Fair will start at 10 am. Campers will return to their camps for farewell dinners at 3 pm, with parents and alumni staying at the Fairgrounds for square dancing and dinner. Get the details on the Fair page, and we'll see you there!
