Nationwide F&W Potluck
On the second Saturday in November, F&W campers, alumni, parents and friends will gather for a potluck dinner in their own neighborhood, borough or city. There will be a shared meal, fellowship, time for sharing memories and maybe even some singing of our favorite camp songs. If you would like to host a potluck gathering, please check out the attached document and contact Kurt Terrell, Chief Development Officer, at kurt@farmandwilderness.org, office 802-422-3761 ext 232, or cell 802-275-8936.
Fair
Farm & Wilderness hosts one big annual fundraising event, the annual F&W Fair.
The Farm & Wilderness Fair, held on the second Saturday in August, features traditional Fair activities accented with unique F&W traditions and always offers a day of fun for the entire family. Hand-powered rides, camper-grown and harvested produce and homesteading foods, and handmade boutique items are all available from camper-run booths. Music, song, dance, swimming and a huge bonfire are favorite features of this annual event that showcases F&W's commitment to organic farming and environmental sustainability.
Proceeds from the Fair raise an average of $15,000 annually, which is allocated to Campership (camp scholarships).
Following the Fair, an after party will be held at the Saltash Inn in Plymouth. F&W will provide hors d'oeuvres and musicians are encouraged to bring their instruments for a string band.
