Events & Retreats
Farm & Wilderness events are a celebration. At the Annual Fair each August, the camp community comes together with friends and alums to share games, rides, food, crafts, song and dance. It is a chance for campers to show parents a slice of F&W life, and a time for alumni to remember the magic of camp and reminisce with old friends.
In the non-summer months, F&W relies on families, friends and alum to return to the Plymouth Valley to help at our seasonal Work Weekends. At these weekend events, F&W is able to complete a huge amount of work with the help of our extended community. In return, event participants get to take a break from their regular lives, enjoy the satisfaction of a hard day of physical labor, and have a taste of camp life, complete with delicious meals, singing, barn chores, and Silent Meeting.
Along with our events here in Vermont, F&W staff goes on the road during the school-year to recruit campers and staff for the following summer.
