Summer Employment
Thank you for your interest in working at Farm & Wilderness this summer. Please note, many of our summer positions have now been filled. However, we are still seeking qualified male staff over the age of 18 to work at Timberlake, and male staff over the age of 21 to work at Saltash Mountain. Please fill out the appropriate application form (listed on right side of this page.)
Nurses: We are still looking to additional Camp Nurses for this summer. If you are interested or know of an RN who may want to be a part of F&W this summer as a Camp Nurse, please contact courtney@farmandwilderness.org
PLEASE NOTE: If you are applying as NEW STAFF MEMBER, please download the first time staff application and reference form (see right) you will need for your application packet. You can also apply using our online form, but you will need to download the reference form to make your application complete. Alternatively, your references may submit their letter or recommendation via email to hr@farmandwilderness.org, with "Reference Letter: Your Name" in the subject line.
If you have already applied but have not yet heard back from F&W--we are sorry for the delay! Please know that we are still reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and selecting staff for hire.
ALREADY BEEN HIRED? Congratulations! We need a few more things from you! First: take a look at our "Getting To Camp" information to figure out how your best mode of arrival/departure. Second: take a moment and fill out our Staff Transportation Survey which will help us coordinate transportation logistics. Last: please fill out our Employment Packet (click here if you worked at F&W in 2009, and click here if you did NOT work at F&W in 2009.)
F&W provides extensive training for our summer staff. New staff members generally attend a five-day Skills Week and all staff members attend an eight-day Staff Week at their camp. View photos of staff trainings and summer work at the photo gallery.
If you have questions or any difficulties, please contact our Human Resources Manager Courtney Porter at our office, (802) 422.3761, or mailto:hrREMOVETHISBEFORESENDING@farmandwilderness.org.
