Before Submitting Your Application

We ask the following question because we take our responsibility for children seriously. The existence of criminal convictions does not preclude you from being employed at F&W.

Because of the nature of work we do at Farm & Wilderness, we are required to ask if you have ever been convicted of a felony or been arrested for a crime against a child. If yes, please explain below.

Have You Ever Been Convicted of a Felony?
Have You Ever Been Arrested for a Crime Against a Child?

The world is getting smaller and information very easy to access. We would like you to consider that material associated with your name on websites such as MySpace, Facebook, YouTube, etc, likely will be accessed by campers and/or parents.

Is the material available about you on the web consistent with your role
as a professional staff member who will teach, counsel and care
for children and young adults?
  • If you check NO, expect that we will discuss this further in your interview.

Please review the F&W website, especially all the "About F&W" sections. Please note that there are no drugs, alcohol or cigarettes allowed at F&W at any time.

As mentioned at the top of this form, we recommend saving your essay answers in a separate file for your own records, in case an error occurs during form submission. Please hit the submit button below if your application is complete. You should hear from us within five days of submission, to confirm that we have received your materials. If you have any questions about applying to F&W, or the status of your application, or do not hear from us within five business days, please contact John Strickland in the F&W office: 802.422.3761x232 or john@farmandwilderness.org
